The KNA-DV3100 and KNA-DV4100 discs will not work in a KNA-DV2100.

Can this disc work in the kna-dv2100 as well? I have a chance to grab this update dvd this weekend. Just wanted to make sure before I jumped and got it

Anyone have any more information on the KNA-MP416 DVD maps for the KNA-DV4100 and KNA-DV3100? I figure it's got the normal updated POIs and street updates. Any other additional features?

In-vehicle navigation system user-survey � results

I'm going nuts trying to find the right location. It's not behind the instrument cluster nor the radio harness. I have the basic stock stereo and looking to install an indash Pioneer nav unit.

Can anyone tell me an easy in cabin location? I read it's available at the PCM, but I don't know where that's located. Help!!!

Hello All,
I have a Kenwood LZ-700W system with 7" Monitor and I'm looking into getting the Nav upgrade for it.

I have found that the KNA-G510 is the latest and greatest, but i'm getting conflicting information on whether or not it will work with the LZ-700W, including touch-screen operation, etc.

I believe crutchfield says they'll work, but another site specifically calls it out as not compatible and refers me to the older DVD-based nav Here. I'd much prefer the more versatile G510 to the dvd nav systems and if that's the only option, i'll just buy a handheld GPS (Garmin C60, etc) instead.

A UK based seller shows that the G520, which i'm guessing is just the same unit with European maps preloaded as I've yet to find this model for sale in the states, says that the G520 is compatible with the LZ-700W.

Of course I dont want to spend $500+ on something that wont work, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

How did you know which box behind the glove box was the ECM and which wire to use as the vss? Please advise soonest.

I am a post graduate researcher at the University of Nottingham in the UK. This questionnaire forms part of a wider study into driver behaviour conducted by myself and my colleagues.

If you use any type of in-vehicle navigation system, I would appreciate it if you could follow the link below and answer a short questionnaire regarding navigation system user behaviour and preferences.

The questionnaire is very short (it should only take 5 to 10 minutes to complete). Research in this area is only in its infancy, and there are many gaps in the current literature, it is hoped this questionnaire will be a start in filling some of these gaps.

Once the results have been analysed, I will provide a link from this forum to a results summary so that interested participants may have a look. Alternatively, please email me at nlf@cs.nott.ac.uk and I will provide them to you by email.
